The Social Media Intern will support the Digital Marketing Team with day-to-day activities and projects focused on enhancing Forvis Mazars’ social media presence. Under the guidance of the Social Media Manager and other team members, the intern will assist in creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing performance metrics. This role provides hands-on experience in social media content creation, campaign coordination, and strategic communication while offering opportunities to develop professional skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a motivated student or recent graduate who is eager to learn about the intricacies of marketing and social media management within a professional services firm.
How you will contribute:
· Assisting in brainstorming and drafting ideas for social media campaigns that align with Forvis Mazars’ marketing goals.
· Helping schedule and publish content across platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, ensuring posts are timely and consistent with the brand’s voice.
· Monitoring social media channels for mentions or comments and flag important items for follow-up.
· Assisting in drafting engaging copy for social media posts and campaigns.
· Helping maintain the social media editorial calendar by coordinating with internal teams on deadlines and upcoming campaigns.
· Collaborating with team members to explore new ideas for content and strategies.
· Supporting the team in compiling data for monthly social media performance reports.
· Learning how to analyze campaign success through advanced analytics tools and provide observations or recommendations.
· Conducting research on social media trends, platform updates, and industry benchmarks to guide efforts in optimizing content.
· Participating in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative strategies for engagement.

· Basic knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools (experience with tools like Sprout Social, Hoot Suite or DSMN8 is a plus).
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized under deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
· Some prior experience or coursework in social media management, marketing, or communications is preferred, but not required.
· Familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube).
· Interest in learning about compliance and ethical standards related to professional services marketing.
