This role will be located in Seattle, WA. Successful candidates will be expected to work in a hybrid setting once our physical office is established.

Are you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Audit?  At Forvis Mazars, you can use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. Whether you choose to start in audit or tax, you will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.


How you will contribute:

  • Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
  • Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
  • Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
  • Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate positions require a bachelor's degree
  • Candidates must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by the start date of the role
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work

Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085)

Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range displayed is for the Colorado market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
