Our Consulting practice is seeking an experienced Microsoft D365 Microsoft Senior Technical Consultant to join our Business Technology Services group (BTS) as a Software Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and managing software that will integrate and extend our clients’ line of business systems.


How you will contribute:

  • Function as a liaison between IT and business; communicate and collaborate with the Account Service Manager and solution architects to drive tasks to completion.
  • Be responsible for working alongside functional consultants to identify system requirements.
  • Work with system architects to design and build software solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
  • Gathering business requirements, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer
  • Translating business needs into technical requirements and provide detailed estimates
  • Working with and managing global teams to ensure timely delivery of technical tasks like development of a new feature
  • Demonstrate proficiency with usage of Azure DevOps for ALM, Requirements gathering as well as Testing.
  • Knowledge of tools like RSAT, LCS Environment Monitoring, Trace parser, Performance Timer, Postman etc.
  • Knowledge to demonstrate integration mechanisms with Dynamics 365 using Data Management Framework and OData principles. 
  • Experience with Development and Implementation in Retail/Commerce projects is a huge plus.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements using a variety of methods and techniques such as: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs; locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and perform system unit testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Help design a set of reports and dashboards.
  • Learn the current state of the company's systems and data repositories, understand the data, including its limitations and potential
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and create reports; develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize data quality

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 3 years or more of experience in a consulting role
  • Must be able to work with development teams varying in size from 3 to 10
  • Knowledgeable on Azure DevOps with 3+ years of experience including projects, wiki, backlog, change management, and test planning



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on ERP implementations would be beneficial
  • Experience in the integration of Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions on the Power App Platform
