As a Software Licensing Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading experts and talented colleagues, both within Forvis Mazars and at our clients. This role provides an environment to explore emerging trends and relevant topics that align with your interests and career goals, fostering both personal and professional growth.
- Serve as a liaison between consultants, clients, and software publishers to facilitate quotes and orders.
- Oversee the eCommerce client marketplace, managing onboarding, ordering, and payment processing.
- Administer software expenses and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile data between the eCommerce client marketplace and the STAR practice management system.
- Stay informed on software licensing updates and promotions through webinars and meetings, sharing relevant insights with the team
- Provide management-level reporting on software sales and margins by product line.
- Collaborate with the team on broader software needs.
- Lead process improvements to enhance the client experience.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality control.
- Detail oriented, must be able to produce accurate software quotes for client’s needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to pick up the phone and call a client, or a consultant, or a salesperson and handle his/her inquiry.
- Ability to work independently and in a team. Responsible for his/her own work, recognizing its contribution to the larger team responsibilities and work.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
- 2 years or more of working in consulting, either project or support work
- 2 years or more of operation support or accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft licensing and Microsoft partner programs a PLUS
