Senior Consultant, Outsourced Accounting Services 

The Outsourced Accounting Services team is a trusted partner for organizations facing complex financial demands. Whether supporting complex transactions, adopting new standards, or enhancing reporting processes, Forvis Mazars brings deep expertise and a proactive mindset—offering both compliance support and strategic insights for long-term success. 

What You Will Do:  

Provide Exceptional Client Service and Coordinate Work in the Following Areas: 

  • Import or synchronize general ledger data 

  • Process accounts payable, including Bill.com integration 

  • Post payroll journal entries 

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts 

  • Prepare and review depreciation schedules 

  • Assist with monthly and year-end trial balance closings 

  • Support the preparation and review of monthly management reports and financial statements 

  • Deliver virtual and on-site outsourced accounting services 

  • Participate in software application implementation projects 

  • Facilitate training and development for associates and colleagues 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or organizational accounting operations, including accounting system workflows, financial statement preparation, and supervision of accounting, payroll, and sales tax functions   

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation 

  • Prior experience with CaseWare, Fixed Assets CS, and Bill.com 

  • Experience working with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Intacct, or similar general ledger software package
