Description & Requirements

Forvis Mazars is seeking a manager to join the National Industry Marketing team. This team member will lead, manage, and support marketing initiatives primarily for the National Insurance industry group, in addition to shared project responsibilities for the National Financial Services industry group.

In this position, the National Industry Marketing Leader (NIML) will collaborate with the National Industry Leader (NIL) for Insurance, industry committee leaders, and marketing and business development (MBD) professionals throughout the firm, as well as work with the national industry marketing team to support practice growth and strategy efforts for the Asset Management practice.

The NIML works with the assigned industry groups in all aspects of marketing and business development, including strategic planning, market opportunity and competitor research, leading national association relationships and involvement, developing and managing the industry marketing budget, trade show planning and participation, strategic client and prospect pursuits, advertising, and driving thought leadership through multiple platforms, including trade associations and publications, social media, email marketing, webinars, and videos.

This position is responsible for providing a blend of strategic marketing planning and execution, as well as project management support, to drive the overall industry strategic plan objectives, help launch new products, services, and growth initiatives, implement campaigns and strategies to drive revenue growth, and manage the overall national marketing approach for their respective industry groups.

This individual will also work with other internal team members to promote a collaborative culture, elevate the firm’s brand, and deliver an Unmatched Client Experience®.

How you will contribute:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of the National Industry Strategic Plan (NISP) to support and track growth goals
  • Develop & manage national industry marketing budget to support growth initiative
  • Proactive, strategic collaboration with National Industry Leader, committee, and MBD team to identify marketing campaign ideas and deliverables to support business priorities
  • Lead and nurture national industry association relationships to help promote the firm’s brand and thought leadership opportunities
  • Lead internal and external conference planning and logistics
  • Pursue and manage sponsorship, speaking, tradeshow, and event opportunities delivering a strong brand and client experience that increases exposure with target audience and drives leads to BD team
  • Manage the development of thought leadership, website and social media content, collateral, webinars, video, and proposal marketing content
  • Develop and execute internal/external communications plan for the industry
  • Work with Strategic Pursuits team on proposal responses and pursuit deliverables, participate in impact pursuit calls, and help support draft development
  • Work with BD team to establish and evaluate the industry’s marketing activities’ KPIs with monthly reports to provide data-driven insights to industry leaders
  • Actively participate in industry marketing team meetings to promote collaboration and best-practice sharing
  • Collaborate with industry, service line, regional, and product marketing teams to drive industry education and coordinate the rollout of major projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field 
  • 7 - 9 years in related field
