The Private Client Tax Senior Associate serves as a trusted advisor and member of various client service teams and must possess significant knowledge of taxation compliance and consulting related to personal, partnership, trust, estate, gift, wealth retention strategies as well as charitable entities managed by ultra-high net worth clients. The Private Client Tax Senior Associate will also participate in client development and team management and conduct research to be current as a subject matter expert.

This seasonal position is expected to begin in early 2025 and continue through mid-April; however, the actual duration may be adjusted based on evolving business needs.


What You Will Do: 

  • Providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundations 
  • Developing, building, and managing client relationships as part of the proposal process 
  • Participating in networking activities to further expand business opportunities and client relationships 
  • As a highly impactful team member, maintaining functional expertise and understanding of a client’s business or family structure is essential to addressing client concerns and challenges 
  • Effectively delegating responsibilities to others, monitoring efforts of engagement teams 
  • Proficiently using technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology 
  • Successfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and clearly communicating those findings in writing 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 2 years or more of related experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust department 
  • Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field 
  • CPA license or J.D. degree and bar admission
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements
