The Capital Advisors team provides investment banking and strategic advisory services to help businesses unlock value through customized liquidity and growth strategies. What you will do:

Develop, lead and execute all marketing, business development, and client engagement initiatives for Forvis Mazars Capital Advisors Investment Banking team. This role is designed to enhance client retention, drive new deal origination, and support the team’s strategic growth objectives. The Associate will play a key role in shaping the team’s external presence, managing outreach efforts, and coordinating high impact events and materials that support transaction execution and pipeline development.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the Investment Banking team, with a focus on expanding sell-side M&A deal flow and deepening client relationships.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and impactful marketing and branding strategy to position the team effectively in the market and attract new mandates.
  • Create and manage external marketing materials, including pitch books, transaction announcements, and client engagement collateral.
  • Lead targeted outreach efforts to corporate executives, wealth advisors, law firms and other key market participants. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and referral sources to support new business generation.
  • Stay current on all relevant investment banking services, with a focus on middle-market M&A advisory. Complete ongoing professional development and regulatory education as required.
  • Plan and execute client-facing events, including industry roundtables, networking receptions, and co-branded functions with strategic partners.
  • Manage CRM systems and tracking tools to monitor business development activity, prospect engagement, and deal pipeline metrics.

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of marketing, business development, or client engagement experience within investment banking or a related financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • In depth understanding of FINRA advertising and communications compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing high-impact presentations and client materials.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing strategic client events and engagements.


Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration
  • Active FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 licenses.
  • Experience supporting M&A advisory teams, particularly in middle-market or sector-specific transactions
